Hey y'all,
Curious how other people handle keeping track of local art scenes over time. Between project spaces, artist-run centers, and independent galleries, things move fast and then disappear just as quickly.
If you're trying to keep a reliable log of past shows, artist lists, and venue changes over a year or two, what does your stack look like? Are you sticking to old-school Notion databases, bookmarking every random blog post, or have you actually built automated scripts/alerts to pull updates because doing it manually is a full-time job?
Would love to hear how people manage the data side of keeping up with local culture.
